Mud Pie is Ecoslay’s bentonite clay clarifying treatment — formulated with apple cider vinegar, neroli distillate, and aloe vera to deeply cleanse scalp and hair. It removes stubborn product buildup, excess sebum, hard water minerals, and chlorine. Works on all curl types from wavy (2a) to kinky (4c).

What Mud Pie Does For Your Hair and Scalp:

Bentonite clay in Mud Pie draws out product residue, mineral deposits, and other buildup that sits on the hair and scalp, lifting them away when completely rinses.  This clarifying treatment cleanser is more thorough than any surfactant-based shampoo. It reaches deep into the hair shaft and follicle to remove stubborn buildup that stops most conditioners and treatments from working.  It leaves the scalp revitalized and hair shiny and manageable.  Mud Pie contains aids to remove chlorine safely and completely from the hair shaft by rinsing it away cleanly. Apply liberally to wet hair, detangling and working through strands completely. Allow treatment to remain on hair for 3-10 minutes depending on your level of build up. 

Rinse thoroughly and follow up with your favorite Ecoslay cleanser to ensure that Mud Pie is completely removed. Enjoy!

Recommended usage: 

• Low Porosity hair: Monthly
• High Porosity hair: Every 2-3 months, depending on buildup.
