Chai Latte is Ecoslay’s sulfate-free hair cleanser — a botanically rich formula that removes scalp buildup, product residue, and excess oil without stripping moisture or disrupting your curl pattern. Built on a warm-spice blend of black tea, ginger essential oil, cinnamon leaf oil, clove flower oil, burdock root, and sage, with detangling support from slippery elm and scalp stimulation from peppermint, it cleanses like a shampoo and nourishes like a conditioner. Use as a regular wash-day cleanser or as a monthly clarifier — depending on your hair’s porosity and how much product you use. Chai Latte is formulated solves both problems — using coconut and plant-based cleansers that produce a rich, satisfying lather while leaving the hair’s moisture layer intact. Slippery elm adds detangling slip so wash day is gentler from start to finish. 

The warm-spice botanical complex — ginger, cinnamon, clove, black tea, sage, burdock root — stimulates scalp circulation, fights fungal and bacterial buildup, helps reduce dandruff, and strengthens hair follicles. Peppermint and nettle help improve blood flow and slow hair loss.

For Low Porosity or oily hair:
As a cleanser:
1. Apply sparingly directly to scalp
2. Massage scalp to produce suds
3. Start at the scalp and work your way through hair strands
4. Rinse thoroughly.

Remember to use a separate clarifier monthly to remove the typical buildup that low-porosity hair can experience.

For High Porosity hair:
As a monthly clarifier:
1. Apply sparingly directly to scalp
2. Massage scalp to produce suds
3. Start at the scalp and work your way through hair strands
4. Rinse thoroughly.

Since Chai Latte may be a bit drying if used regularly, it's suggested that you use Peppermint Schnapps as your regular cleanser.
